The workshop “Coupled AI and Finite Element Methods: Discovering Novel Biomarkers from Complex Medical Datasets” was organized as part of the STRATIFYHF project at the IEEE-EMBS International Conference on Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI 2025), held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center, Atlanta, GA, from October 26–29, 2025.
Speakers included Nenad Filipović (University of Kragujevac, BioIRC, Serbia), Dejan Krsmanović (CardioMed Technology Consultants, USA), Tijana Geroski (University of Kragujevac, BioIRC, Serbia), and Dejana Popovic (Mayo Clinic, USA).
The workshop explored how the coupling of artificial intelligence and finite element methods can uncover novel biomarkers and improve the understanding of complex medical datasets.
